“Corner to Corner” a poem

go west

Corner to Corner

Corner to corner was the goal

Go west we were told

So we headed out on the road

Taking the path as told

Leaving the Maine coast behind

Seeking what adventures we would find

Friends and family we saw on the way

Every stop a pleasant stay

Westward we continued

Enjoying every vista we viewed

Through prairie and desert we rolled

Over mountain and grassy Knoll

Our goal of the opposite corner drawing nearer

Seeing HIS will ever clearer

Into the desert we descend

Approaching the journey’s end

Arriving at the beginning of a new chapter

Following HIM from here after
