“This is my God”

Acts238

The LORD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

Exodus 15:2 (ESV)

This is my God, He is my strength, song, and salvation. Is God the reason for a song in your heart? A song of praise and adoration to the God deserving all praise and exaltation? When one comes to know God, this verse is a statement that can be made in great confidence.

When we fully trust in His power and His salvation we cannot help but praise Him for all that He is. Those that are His find their strength and song in Him. This is my God, is He yours? Do you claim Him as your own? Are you giving everything over to His care?

If you aren’t you need to. He longs to care for us, and provide for us. He wants us to put our trust, our strength in Him. He wants to be our salvation! “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” John 3:16,17 (ESV)

This is my God, do you want him to be yours?

Acts 2:38 “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” and He will be your God,  your strength, song and salvation.
