From the Abundance of the Heart the Mouth Speaks

As Christians, it is our duty to speak the truth in all that we say. If you have grown up in a righteous household then your parents have doubtless done their best to instill in you the idea that you must always tell the truth, and to lie is a sin. Ephesians 4:15 tells us how to grow more like Christ by speaking the “truth in love.” Honesty and truthfulness are essential elements of the Christian life.

But being truthful goes much further than simply speaking with integrity. Have you ever considered the importance of thinking the truth? After all, what you say and do stems from your thoughts.
